Principal / Owner

Kevan was born in Lexington, Kentucky and attended Lexington Catholic High School.  He studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of Kentucky.  Kevan graduated cum laude from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.  He has applying his problem-solving skill for the benefit of his clients for over 20 years and is able to assist clients not in just family law, but in other areas that his clients may have a need for including probate, guardianship, criminal defense and civil litigation including personal injury.  Kevan is also licensed to practice in Florida.

Richard presently serves as 859-Divorce Law Group’s Operations Manager. From the nuances of daily operations to the Firm’s long-term business strategy, Richard’s diversified business experience has been crucial in helping the Firm reach its goals and expectations.

Richard graduated from NKU, Salmon P. Chase College as non-traditional law student and brings a wealth of business experience to the firm.  In addition to leading the firm’s marketing, Richard handles many of the tangential issues that emerge from family court matters, such as real estate and investments.  Richard also engages in Entertainment Law, Business Law and Real Estate Law.

As a Nicholasville resident, Richard is also very much involved in his community as a member the Lexington Rotary, Lexington Club and as a Kentucky Colonel. Just don’t ask him about his golf game—it’s a sore subject.

Leah D. Rowland , Esq.

Of Counsel

Leah was born and raised in Paintsville Kentucky and following high school moved to Lexington where she attended the University of Kentucky. Leah put her outstanding writing skills to good use by graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism.
Leah graduated from NKU, Salmon P. Chase College of Law with honors (Cum Laude) and presently practices in downtown Lexington along-side Richard David Lom. In addition to Family Law, Leah also engages in Business Law and Wills & Probate matters.
Leah’s stead-fast dedication as a family law attorney provides 859-Divorce Law Group’s clients with a level of white-glove representation that few others can offer. Whether it be digging into the nuances of a complicated modification or battling it out in court over a custody hearing, Leah’s passion for the law make her a valuable and vital part of the Firm.
As a Lexington resident, Leah has a penchant for interior design and is presently training for her first triathlon.
